The solo x 10" sub works in a 1.25^3ft to 2.25^3ft ported enclosure. So 2 10" subs need 2.5-4.5 cubic feet of internal airspace, plus you need whatever airspace the physical port takes up inside the box (.5-1 cubic foot for the port is normal)....
So, that tells me I need 5.5 cubic feet for the maximum output for 2 kicker solo x 10" subwoofers......

To put that in perspective, your enclosure would need to be 49.5" wide, 13.5" deep, and 18" tall...... thats just not doable under the seat of a truck.

Now, if we choose the DC Audio 6.5" and we do (4) four of them. Each sub wants .3^3ft for a total of 1.2^3ft for the subs and approx .5 for the physical port for a total of 1.8 and I'd build it 2-2.2 and allow for displacement of the drivers, some bracing, and just a little for the "Bass Gods"!!! Hahaha

I'm liking your idea here. I like the idea of the four 6.5"s. what would have more bass though... four 6.5"s or... two to three 8"s?
