Backfire problems?

I'm having a decent amount of backfire at low to mid rpms. I've modified to throttle body plate a ways back and hasn't given me any problems yet. It's not throwing a check engine light Anyone have any similar problems if so what'd you do. Thanksss

Just for the hell of it check and see what your timing is set at....

Is it just a quick back fire or is it violent like something is about to blow up....

It's a 97 tahoe 350 vortec 4l60e tranny and it's a mild back fire but it happens every time threw 1st and 2nd It's not terrible enough but it's enough to be a problem in the near future
