Can you take a pic of your pcv valve or answer this. I dont know if mine is seated correctly and i have some oil residue around that area. is the outer edge inside the grommet or what? i might need to take my grommet off and re do it some how.

not my motor, but what im talking about is the grommet on the back of the driver's side valve cover. i have some oil residue around that port

It's normal, I have yet to see one without a little oil leakage unless it's sittin on the dealer floor. Back pressure. With the compression in my 327 motor i had I could blow the pcv out at 7800 rpm no problem at all.

little oil around it is just fine. they all have it. as long as it's not running out a fresh stream your fine.
