Two weeks ago, I thought I had my ac fixed. This morning when I started it up I noticed the compressor kicking off and on. I took a guess with it being a pressure problem, so I jumped the pressure switch at the accumulator. Compressor stays on, but not getting cold inside. After it running for a while I look at the AC lines and the one between the condenser and evaporator had a thick layer of ice all over it.
It's weird to me that the line can be so frozen outside, and no cold air inside. Any ideas? or is it possible that I really just am low on pressure? The blower motor is working.
