adding interior lights (OBS)

my 89 is the work truck model. while ive got the dash apart to swap gauges, install a stereo, and fix some annoying rattles, id like to add a passengers side dome light switch and a pair of footwell lights. anyone have a wiring diagram for these options? my harness does not have the provisions for adding them, so ill have to make a subharness.

you can tie into the door switch button and will work when u have door open is that what ur wanting to do,,,,, or have all the time floor lights ?

nope. just on when the dome light swicth on the dash is on, or when the doors are open.

i guess ill tie the dash switches in to the existing dome light wiring. i think i read somewhere that hot is orange, ground is black. correct? and the ground circuit is switched. what about tapping in the passengers side switch?
