91 SCSB V6 Manual Trans swap

Hey guys.... I've got a 90 with a 350 auto I bought for $1500. Runs great and has cold A/C. But the body is rough. Yesterday I found a guy who has a 91 V6 manual trans. Body is in great shape. Needs a clutch. Even black in color. My Fav..... here's my question.
Has any one done the manual trans to auto swap with aV8 upgrade? By the way he asking$1500 for it. Would it be more trouble than its worth? Any advice on this matter would be helpful.

So the 91 is in better shape? So your planing on putting your 350 in the 91?? I think is should be worth it. The nv3500 isnt the best transmission but it should do ok with a stock 350

You can bolt that nv3500 in the v6 behind the 350.
