I don't plan to keep this motor in the truck for more than eight months to a year. After the basic carb swap, it'll get pulled out to go into my S10 Blazer which is in dire need of a V8 swap, and since I don't wanna mess with the wiring between swaps (TBI to MPFI/96+ PCM), I'm doing the carb setup to avoid such issues. Still debating on whether I want to throw my 700R4 in the Blazer out of my truck or put the TH350 behind it.
But the truck will have a carb'd 350 Vortec by Summer 2019 most likely. It's just a long, expensive process.
