4l80e with bolt on yoke , not the slip yoke. how to install the driveshaft?

I'm putting my swap back together and i having a hard time getting the driveshaft back on the bolt on yoke. Do I have to pop the transmission out of the mount? I dont recall what I what happened when i seperated it.

There is a slip section in the shaft, make sure it's not stuck or over filled with grease so it will compress the grease it when it's back in.
