3/4 ton gears

with the front housing from a 3/4 ton fit in a half ton and will the gears from 8 lug 14 bolt fit n a 6 lug 14 bolt i can find some 410s in a 3/4 ton and i can find a 6 lug 14 bolt with 342 or 373 gears and didnt know if the gears would interchange

For the rear end the gears form another 14 bolt semi-floating with the 9.5" ring gear will work with yours...the only difference is the axle shafts. Not sure about the front

sweet thanks i got a lead on a set of gears just need to know if they will fit what if its a full floating rear with the gears work on the 6 lug 14 bolt just the gears though

No, on the full-float 14 bolt the ring gear is 10.5" in diameter compared to 9.5" in the semi-float

I've heard of someone switching the 8.2 front for the 9.2 front. You have to change the mounting brackets tho.

Yes they are. The 9.2 is quite a bit larger

the only 3/4 front to fit in a 1/2 ton is the 7200 gvw 3/4 ton which is the 6 lug 3/4 ton, those use the same parts as a 1/2 ton



1/2 ton pickup/gasser suburban/yukon and light duty 3/4 uses the 8.25 ifs diff

1/2 ton suburban with diesel and 8600 gvw 3/4 ton and 1 ton pickups have the 9.25 ifs and share the same suspension parts
