Here's a recent pic of the truck in Hollister hills.
This is the first original post.
I'm new to gmt400. Iooks like a great group on here so i decided to join.
I have owned my truck for 10 years. It's has a 6 inch rancho lift kit with a 3 inch body lift. 15 inch weld wheels with 38 inch TRXus radials, 456 gears(rear only) and a Denali front end.
I've let the truck sit on the driveway for the last 5 years and now I am trying to get it back on the road, sand and dirt. I have an extra font diff case with 456 gears I plan to rebuild and install. And a 6 lug 14 bolt rear end that has been sitting in backyard rusting that I plan to work on and install as well. Hopefully if all goes well I will have these in.
The front end is really beat up and needs work. The truck is missing a bump stop on the driver side lift kit below the upper a arm and The alignment is off. I plan to work on these, brakes and hub. Possibly replace the upper and lower ball joints and get some beefy tie rods. Any suggestions on a good place to finds parts? Thanks guys!!
