My 1998 K2500 sputters on acceleration no loss of power but the instrument gauges (except temp gauge)flutter at that time more than they do at idle. The truck seems to run fine but the gauges (except temp gauge) flicker or flutter sometimes. Any suggestions on causes?

Thanks,
Jimmy

If it sputters how do you not lose any power? I'm confused by that part.
I would suggest checking fuel pressure first. Find out if you have good pressure. That's usually the first thing I check for a sputtering issue. Only takes a few minutes.

OK thanks I guess I mean it hesitates or jerks. Loss of power I mean it doesn't seem to effect it other than the hesitation.
