Hello, my vehicle has been acting up, my left side turn signal flashes fast when headlights are on but the right one is normal. I replaced bulbs as well as flasher, any suggestions? Any help is very much appreciated. If you have any questions about it just ask.

Edit: The left signal works fine when lights are turned off.

Here is a wiring diagram for the exterior lights. To me, it seems like it's probably an issue with the turn flasher box (not sure if it's a relay or an actual module). It's up at the top left of the wiring diagram, and it says it's behind the left side of your instrument panel.

Here is a link for just about every wiring diagram you could ever need for your truck. Sorry, can't be much help beyond that, never heard of this problem before.

Thanks for the reply, I'll check all of the wiring, grounds, and fuses.

It sounds like you have a ground issue. Check the lights with the 4 way flashers on and with the parking lights off. One is probably flashing on the parking lamp filament. Check the ground connection of that socket.

Hope this helps

Hello, thanks for replying. When the hazards are on with or without lights on, it blinks normal. I am completely confused.

Start tracing wires from the parking light connectors. Sounds like either a ground issue, or a broken wire. There are two grounds for the headlight harness, one right above the driver side headlight, INSIDE the radiator support, a few inches away from where the thermostat hose connects to the radiator, and the other is right next to the battery screwed into the firewall.

I also recommend checking your taillight wiring and circuit boards. There is only one ground for the rear harness, top of the driver side frame rail, near the fuel tank.

Mine did this after new bulb install......figured out it was a bad bulb connection at socket.....mine had hard grease caked inside the socket that I had to clean out, scrape the bulb contacts in the socket clean and reinsert bulb....working fine now.
