Differential housing chipped?

Front Axle issue? Dumb question.

Okay, I bought a 1999 k2500 and have been trying to get it running right. I jacked the front end up today and hand turned the tires, the entire axle shaft spun on both tires. It is in 2WD. Is this normal? I feel like maybe the bearings are bad? When I put the truck in 4WD, it violently shakes...

NBS rear disc brakes on OBS 10 bolt

Does anyone make adapters to put the NBS style calipers on the OBS 10 bolt 6 lug with the 10" drums? I've seen plenty of disc conversations but can't find much on the NBS brake swap. Is it easier to just swap a whole axle?
