    Mine (97 5.7) set the P0102 and a C0507 this morning. I erased them and all was good till tonight. I've been driving it all day and no re-occurrence. Now it sets a light immediately after I clear it. I unplugged my MAF this morning to replace the low side a/c switch, but it's plugged in good...

    Question: Should I replace the coolant fitting going from the intake to the heater core when I do this ? That's about the only thing that went bad wrong with these trucks when they were newer seems like because you had to get the threaded part out if it corroded and broke off.

    Hmm. OK, I'll check it out when I have it off and see about removing that. It doesn't have to flow through that bypass to circulate the filter does it ? If it doesn't then I may leave it alone if filter flow is unaffected. Thanks

    I posted in that thread too. One guy said he plugged his w/ 3/8 plugs and another siad something had to be modified.

    Yea, mines dripping off the brace running to the bellhousing. It's also dripping onto the front diff from somewhere but it's dry all around the heads. My oil looks good and extremely little to no moisture in the oil fill tube.

    What would be the harm in this ? I bought a 97 recently and the radiator is leaking, oil cooler lines have evidence of a leak, and the cooler adapter housing is leaking. I'm considering getting a radiator with no cooler and plugging the holes in the adapter housing. I have a Duramax to pull/work...
