96 4.3 to 5.7 swap with no spark
Have a 96 GMC 1500 single cab that was originally a 4.3. We blew that motor up so pulled a 5.7 out of a 97 Tahoe to swap in. Stole the wiring harness and all that out of it as well. Tahoe was running and driving before pulled everything out of it. Going to to try to start it but have no spark...- cudakid

Interesting, thank you very much. Guess figure out how to either make a tahoe brake light stuff work or steal the wires out of my old harness and wire the relay in.- cudakid

Good evening Have a 96 1500 single cab that I am swapping in a 5.7. Originally the truck was a V6. Stole the motor and the engine wiring harness out of a 97 Tahoe.
