all cyl have good compression and within range of each other. i did not have this problem 2 weeks ago. i was hunting down another problem and changed everything out listed above. once i started it i got the misfire.not super noticeable at idle I definitely feel it being a bit slugish. i checked...

Misfire cyl 2

99 5.7 vortec I am having a misfire on cylinder 2 and an occasionally multi cylinder misfire. I have put new cap and rotor,new spider injectors, plugs wires. Have spark and fuel pressure what also may cause this? Intake gasket was replaced by previous owner a year ago. I apriciate it.

NO CRANK NO START

Okay update so I pulled the plugs and lemme tell ya there was a **** ton of fuel in the cylinders. Mainly 8&5 but after they were pulled and I cleaned up I bumped the starter and it cranks but then it dumped a ton of fuel out the plug holes. For some reason my injectors are going crazy? This...

Sounds like it engages flex plate, I'm going to pull plugs and see if for some reason it filled cylinders with fuel? I drove it into the garage to work on it, worked on it and then this issue so I don't see how it would have just seized for no reason.

So I put a new battery and cables in I'm hearing the starter engage strong but still will not crank

Battery was low due to trying to see if it was the pass/immobilizer I hooked a jump box to it and got 12.3v tried that it didn't do anything pulled the battery out of my truck and tried and still nothing. I figured I screwed something up getting to the injector regulator.

NO CRANK NO START

So recently I went to go change the injector presure regulator on my 99 5.7 vortec. Went thre pulled the upper manifold and got under to put everything in. After putting everything back together and bolting the upper intake back down I get a NO crank no start. Battery is good when the key is on...
