Clicking noise when turning wheel

Just noticed this today on my 98 k2500 suburban. When I turn the wheel left, I get a clicking noise, almost like when it’s flipping the turn signal off after turning. I made a video of it:

Cracked case at rear seal

Using a seal puller, the seal came out pretty easy, but noticed the hook broke off part of the T case. Best work around to fix this?

Hello from NC

Just picked up a 98 k2500 suburban a few weeks ago. Leather seats, 4x4, 2 owner and 148k miles. Got it for $4000. I’ve been going through it and changed all fluids, filters, shocks, wheels/tires, brakes… etc Swapped the tow mirrors back to original also. Look forward to being here. I’ve had a...

What ring gear size do I have?

I have a 98 suburban k2500, in changing my transfer case seals and the pinion seals need it to. Do I have the 10.5” ring gear? It’s got the 14 bolt with 4.10 gears
