Never got the tune. Never bought the programer. I have the truck up for sale now because I need a 4x4. The next truck will be identical but a 4x4 in black if I can find it.

I am going to put a tool box on the tongue, then a battery inside, that battery will get hooked to the hot wire that charges the trailer brake battery.

Recently I bought a new 2013 Kearney 20' All Steel car hauler trailer. One thing the trailer needed that it does not have is a winch mount, so I designed one in AutoCAD for my Warn 12 Series Industrial 12K winch. Today I got the mount plate built and ran the cable out and re-spooled it...

Well the truck had to go back into the shop because the radiator was cracked, that was Monday, I still do not have it back. I'm getting pretty pissed about it. But I have decided for the time being to keep the truck. Tonight I am going down to look at a parts truck that has a very good...

Easy swap, people do it all the time, it is a bit expensive, but not as bad as you might think.

Well found part of the problem tonight. Put a new set of plugs in it, they were all pretty tired, this one though was absolutely horrid, found a broke wire on it I suspect it had not been firing for a while. I put some Bosh Iridium plugs in it, truck scared the crap out of me when I put my...

I decided to do a photo shop of what it will look like lowered. I think some air ride is definitely going to be in the trucks future.

Well I finally got the truck back tonight. I know it is a crappy cell phone pic, but the new bumper and grill look amazing, I am pretty damn happy with it. Got it back and the AC was not working though, I am going to try charging it up, hopefully none of the system got damaged. I think...

So right now I am totally pissed, stopped by to pick up the truck this afternoon, found out it is not ready, they said it probably will not be until tomorrow or Wednesday. This is after they told me it would be ready last Friday. As well I have my suspicion that they used a cheap knock off...

Hey Guys I have not had updates on this for a while because I have not done much to the truck, the last month and a half it has been sitting over at a body shop, I got ran off the road by a school bus and messed the front end all up. Supposedly tomorrow I am getting it back, they had to...

GM P30 14 Bolt Dually Rear - Houston TX

This is a P-30 14 Bolt Chevy Chevrolet GMC rear axle, from a 1980's step Van 4.10 Ratio, open diff. This is the Rare 14 bolt. This rear end is the narrow rear end, if you want to put 22' Alcoa wheels on your dually truck, this is the axle you need. I bought this for a project I no longer...

Picked up the new map sensor, stuck it in, truck woke right up. I have tripple the power I did before. Comparing the old sensor to the new one I discovered that the sensor that was installed on the truck was the wrong one. I ran up to get some lunch in it, stuck my foot in it a couple of times...

I made some more progress on the truck today, I towed my trailer down and scrapped it, left the MAP unplugged, the truck had much more power and pulled the trailer much better, I decided to order a new Delphi MAP it will be in tomorrow morning. I also bought a fuel pressure gage, fuel is...

    Blue 95's Build Thread

You can feather the paint with some sand paper and use duplicolor. I have done this before with fairly good results.

    Blue 95's Build Thread

Personally I like the mud flaps, they help save your paint in a big way, I grew up in Montana and drove on gravel quite a bit, they save a lot of wear and tear on your paint. The blue sure is pretty though with the molding all pulled off it.

Wow man, that frame is in pretty rough shape. I'd think you would be best off getting another. Looks like if you can get it all fixed up that it will make a nice truck.

Tonight I decided to drive the truck to school with the MAP sensor unplugged, surprisingly the truck ran much better and had way more power than it did with it hooked up. I think I have found my problem. It shouldn't run better on the base line spark map.

I had a passing thought earlier, I decided to open up the base config file for the Vortec 454 in HP tuners, What I found was kind of interesting. In the Idle spark map (top) the timing below 85kPa is 25 degrees. Last night with the timing light finding the timing at exactly 25° BTDC it...
