Correct, my scanner showed only bank 1 being the problem, so I replaced the drive side knock sensor.

1998 gmc Sierra 2500 engine upgrades?

I recently purchased a 1998 gmc Sierra 2500. I've rebuilt the front end as the bushings, ball joints, and control arms were toast. I now see I have a slow head gasket leak. So the heads are coming off. I've read about how factory timing was retarded which explains some of the lame performance...
