Ya thats true, took the cap off, its whinning, must just have air in it or be blocked up. When it gets above single digits and the 10 inches of snow melts i'll mess with it.
Its been turned alot up on jacks, been driven 100 miles or so since being replaced so its been turned several times. What gets me is the fact that i have to wind it up to turn it wether on jacks or not.
Needing some help with power steering, my pump was leaking and so were both lines, i replaced them and added fluid and the steering is hard. It steered fine before, but now it wont steer hardly at all unless i wind up the motor. Is there a bleeding process? I have yet to find one or anyone that...

How did you do your true dual set up? i got a 96 ecsb 4wd that i put lt headers on it and i want to do a true dual set up so i can run the exhaust out of the back. right now it dumps out right under the cab. It is louder than s*** and i have flowmaster 40's on it
I am sure there is already a thread for this, but i dont got time to look thru all of em. Is converting from bucket seats to a bench seat just a simple bolt on project or is very complicated. and has anyone on here done that
Ya im not afriad of the work. And i have a friend or two who is good at tuning carbs. I also dont live too far from a bunch of drag racers and an engine builder that is known all over the place. Plus i have a dyno shop not too far away.
Ya i think you would wanna be careful about that. In theory that should work tho. If i were you, i would do some research and see what kind of air a good size turbo for that motor moves at a specific pressure so you can get an idea of what it will be like and maybe how you can tune for it
Ya i know it doesnt make since to do on a truck this new but ive heard it can be done. I know what all what it will take and the pain it can be but i also want to be different from everyone. Plus ive been invisioning a turbo or two in the future soo that might ease thing on the tuning issue
Im tired of having a lack of power. I cant afford a good efi system so i want to go to a carb set up. Ya they might not be as good but atleast you dont need a f****** P.hd to work on them.
Has anyone on here done or know someone who has done a L31 to carb swap in a 96 k1500? I am tired of having a crappy efi system and cant afford a good system. But i can afford a carb set up and since its not a dd and more of a work/play truck mpg's are not too big of a deal.
Ya well i forgot to state that i already have long tube heards, 30 inches of pipe, and a flowmaster 40 series street/strip on each side. i just wanna continue it straight back all the way to get rid of some cab noise.
Hey guys. I got a 1996 Sierra xcsb 1500 and i am wanting to put a true dual set up in it. I need some ideas for overcoming the stupid fuel tank being right in the way. I want it to exit out the rear so i can have a full exhaust. any ideas????
