    Definitely sounds like a fuel problem somewhere. Should be running around 14 psi I think maybe try cleaning up the injectors some as well. Wouldn't hurt.

    I re ran the black wire withe the red stripe just didn't put a fusable link there. Just trying to get it to start up.

    Engine never ran at all. I rebuilt it. Got the truck for 300 with just a block. Sparked on the negative side of the battery at the terminal.

    Everything was okay after I did the swap just when I went to hook up the battery it kinda sparked alittle and then no power.

    Hello, I have a 89 c2500 that I carb swapped for personal reasons. I had power after I got everything hooked up and was about to get it started for the first time. So I went to hook up my battery and is made a connection and then all of my power was lost. No power to the whole truck anywhere...

    Fusable link

    So I arched the battery and lost all power to my truck. Pretty sure it's a fusable link. But I'm not sure what one it is. I have an 89 c2500.

    Hey what's up working on the 89 2500 carb swapped very confused disheartened lost and need some very expert help. Was going all good running fine that all of a sudden bam all the power went out in the whole truck no headlights no dome light no click from bad battery situation no anything at all...

    Battery is reading 12.7 on multimeter. Not getting anything on the dash. I will check ground. Haven't done that yet. Thanks

    Hello I have an 89 2500 5.7. I bought a new battery and put it in went to hook up cables and it sounded like it made a good connection but no lights or anything will turn on. Thought it was the fuse but fuse is good. Not sure please help.

    Carb Swapping a 93 Tbi

    Not for sure what carb you are running but Holley makes a tps adapter kit that hooks up where your automatic choke is. Kind of expensive but will save you troubles in the long run.

    What's up guys? First timer here. Installing new back glass on my 89 2500 didn't come with one. Just confused on what seal I need and how it's done. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Definitely has lots of potential and pretty clean. I'm working with a 89 2500 st the moment but not dealing with tbi. Bought the truck for 300 and only block and heads so I am in the process of carb swap. I can't help how bad a** a 2500 looks. Tru definition of "solid" nice find.

    Been getting alot of mixed reviews on the 3310-2 lol think I'm going to try it out and see. Much appreciated on the info. Also what wires do I run to hei distributor for this swap? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Good morning everyone. Going tbi to carb stock 350. Was just curious. I have a holley 3310-2 vacuum secondary I'm putting on it. Is it too much cfm or would I still be able to adjust it to run right. Please let me know what you think. Thanks
