picked up the 3500 this afternoon!!!! Low and cool! Took it to the autowash and spent some time cleaning the dust and bird stuff off it. Drove on the freeway with all four windows open to blow all the dust out of the interior. The truck has been sitting for over 6 months, so it was dusty. But...- dragoz2020

1991 Suburban R1500 Square Body
I went with my son on a long drive last weekend - about 13 hours drive time there and back from Las Vegas to / from Tucson Arizona. Picked up the 1991 GMC Suburban I found on EBay. Gas was ridiculous!! I paid about $5.19 a gallon average!! These prices will definitely affect my driving habits...- dragoz2020

In this case, the 8 lug to 10 lug adapters always require the flat bottom lug nuts because the adapters have machined flat surfaces as shown in the pictures. Yes, semi wheels can be hub centric or lug centric and I have been told that this is important to know when putting 10 lug semi wheels on...- dragoz2020

Another bit of info worth knowing: If you use adapters for 8 lug to 10 lug wheels, you will NOT be able to use your old 8 lug NUTS with the conical shape to secure your adapters to the original wheel hubs. Now for the wheels - and NO, THEY DO NOT FIT!! Which I was told by everyone! Thank you for telling me and it went together knowing it was not going to fit. It's not me, it's the guy doing the wheels. He knows, they drop trucks for a living, it is a custom shop that does lifts and lowering. I agree, the problem is, if you get something cheap and it doesn't work, what choice do you have? In this case, the 3500 was solid, clean and was the last year OBS GMT400 CCD. It had one dent in the passenger rear fender, the interior was solid, and actually looked like a non-smoker...- dragoz2020

More ugly engine bay pics!! This was AFTER the pressure wash!!! So, it does have a BANKS PERFORMACE header kit!! The aftermarket oil filter kit with dual giant oil filters (NAPA 1773) was needed because the BANKS PERFORMANCE HEADERS blocked the oil filter from mounting in the stock position...- dragoz2020

I like the cowl, so if I find one cheap I will buy it. Or, if I decide to get this thing painted, it might make me get the cowl hood or forget about it. Of course, I have the option of adding a cowl, but then I need a spare hood and the body work and then paint, it seems like too much effort...- dragoz2020
