I bought this Square Body on EBAY. Going to pick it up in AZ Sunday. I have started looking for parts and ideas. This will be my family cruizer for car shows!!! Now they can't say I am being selfish and only think about myself - even if it is true.

Looks like you have quite the cleaning project in front of you. The good thing about cleaning is its free and you get instant gratification from it to keep you going with the rest of the project.

That truck reminds me of my last square body Burb. 90 R2500, light blue metallic and white, blue velour interior and the white square body dashboard with the dark blue dash pad. Very familiar looking, I miss that truck. But my current Burb is a worthy successor.

I went with my son on a long drive last weekend - about 13 hours drive time there and back from Las Vegas to / from Tucson Arizona. Picked up the 1991 GMC Suburban I found on EBay. Gas was ridiculous!! I paid about $5.19 a gallon average!! These prices will definitely affect my driving habits from now on. I took the Suburban to the car wash and sprayed the engine compartment and interior out. I felt sick afterwards. Maybe there was meth contamination in the interior - found some weird stuff, broken glass, old clothes, yuk!! The interior is coming out, hope I can salvage the seats, but everything else will be replaced. What do you think about turning this into a crew cab suburban?? On Saturday I got the AAM 11.5 DRW axle assembly from a cab & chassis 2006 Silverado.
