    I’ve been doing some research and from what I’ve read it doesn’t seem that bad to do a 5 to 8 lug swap just use the 8 lug front upper control arms, knuckles, and brakes. The rear is just swapping the rear axle and using a conversion u-joint is this correct?

    98 gmc sierra keeps blowing ecm 1 fuse

    I have a 1998 gmc sierra 5.0 vortec that blows the ecm 1 fuse once you crank it for a little, when I unplug the fuel injector plug at the top of the engine the fuse does not pop anymore, is there a short in that wiring or could it be from the injectors themselves?

    I have an egr code because the pipe that goes from the exhaust manifold to the intake broke so it's blocked off at the moment could that be the issue?

    1998 gmc sierra 1500 5.0 vortec, starts fine when cold but it has to crank for a few seconds once it’s warmed up before it’ll start. I have already replaced the fuel pump for other issues not related to this and it did it before replacing the pump anyways.any thoughts?

    Vortec 305 fuel pressure

    Is 58 psi good enough for a vortec 305 when the engine is idling, key on engine off starts at 35 psi and when I cycle it again it slowly builds up pressure is this normal?

    I disconnected the o2 sensors and it runs the same. Spark plugs definitely look like they’re running lean.

    It actually doesn’t have any misfire counts which I find strange.fuel pressure under load is 58.I just replaced the manifold to cylinder head gaskets.it doesn’t run different when the lines are pinched.

    It runs fine when it’s cold or after it has been sitting for a few hours, after it warms up it has a fuel trim of 30-40% on bank 1 and 20-30 on bank 2.I unplugged the maf and it makes it run richer but it still runs the same.
