    Limited Slip/Locker 9.25" IFS

That wasn't needed, he was trying to make match all the way down but I told him that area is fine so he stopped

    Limited Slip/Locker 9.25" IFS

In this picture I circled the area that needed machined. It was only on one side of the carrier, so he machined it to match the other side. The part that is shiny in my first picture.

    Limited Slip/Locker 9.25" IFS

Just got done putting a used 9.5 elocker out of a Hummer H2 into my 9.25 diff. I had to have it machined though because there is this big hump that hits the inside of the case. $30 of machining later and it fits just the same as the old open diff.

    GMT 400 Hydroboost swap

I used a pcm mount from an 2000s S10, I did some trimming of the plastic pcm mount and I wallowed out 2 of the mounting holes in the mount to line up with the threaded holes on the inner fender where the ABS used to mount too. I'll try to remember and get some more pictures of it after work...

    GMT 400 Hydroboost swap

I'm running a 06 3500hd master cylinder on my k1500 that I converted to hydroboost and deleted the ABS. The nbs MC won't fit the obs hydroboost so I swapped out the front portion of the obs hydroboost with the front portion of a nbs hydroboost. That way I didn't have to swap mounting plates and...

    GMT 400 Hydroboost swap

Finally got around to seeing if the NBS master cylinder fit on the OBS Hydro boost, and it doesn't, well the 2006 3500HD one doesn't so I'm going to have to modify this HB to mate up the MC.

    The Stupid Lift Questions Thread

When using lift springs instead of blocks do you have to source a wedge to correct the pinion angle? Because the lift blocks are tapered to correct the angle or am I missing something about using lift leaf springs.

    Lifted leaf springs

Do you have to put a wedge between the axle and the lift springs to fix pinion angle? Like how the lift blocks are angled.

    GMT 400 Hydroboost swap

Well I just picked up a k2500 with hydroboost and I have a nbs master cylinder for it, I'll see if it will bolt up with no issues. Might have to wait till weekend before I can get to it and let you know through. I know the bolt holes line up I think its just the part that fits into the HB is...

    GMT 400 Hydroboost swap

It works pretty good, I believe the biggest thing to fix the soft/spongy pedal problem is the nbs master cylinder cause so many people just do that swap onto the obs vacuum boosters with great results, hell there are some disc conversion kits that come with a nbs master cylinder and the kit...

    GMT 400 Hydroboost swap

I don't know if the master cylinders are different for disc and drum. I'm using a master cylinder with the biggest cylinder size that I could find I believe it was out of a 2006 3500hd, I swapped in a 02 9.5 14 bolt for disc brakes and used a adjustable proportioning valve.

    GMT 400 Hydroboost swap

Now that you mentioned it I believe there is something different about the rod and its crimped on so its not easily swapped, I just took them both apart and swapped the whole rod assembly(power piston). Its been so long so I'm forgetting alot of the details.

    GMT 400 Hydroboost swap

I believe that the outer diameter of the nbs master cylinder is to big to fit into the obs hydro-boost, you may need a nbs hydro unit and swap out the mounting plate to bolt up to the obs firewall. Or that could be my case cause I'm using a nbs master cylinder for a 3500hd and the 1500s ones...

    11.5 NBS Axle Swap?

Spring perches and shock mounts are in different locations. Not that big of deal If you can weld. I swapped a 2002 9.5 14 bolt into my 98 k1500 and I just picked up a 2007 10.5 14 bolt I need to modify to fit in my 2000 ccsb. Ruff Stuff Specialties sells kits for this.

    Lift knuckles and brakes

I've seen where people will use the lift knuckles for a gmt800 2500hd with the gmt400 k1500 lift kit that way its easier to convert to 8lug up front and then you have 2500hd brakes instead of gmt800 1500 brakes, doubt its just a bolt up swap but I've seen a few of them so it shouldn't be to bad...

Who knows how to add auto down power windows to a 1994 silverado

Its an aftermarket part, they sell them on Amazon. One unit can do up/down on 2 windows or just one direction on 4 windows so if you want up and down on 4 windows you'll need 2 modules and thats only from drivers side, I can't remember if you can get it to work for passenger side switch too...

1996 and newer switch panel ideas.

I don't know if you had any luck finding a pigtail for your switches but the one that I have for mine has a MOLEX P.N. 34728-0120. Which doesn't come up online but a 34729-0120 does and seems to be right one but get mixed results with the images for that number. Heres pictures of mine...

The 4 upfitter switches are cheaper and they been putting them in trucks since 2016 maybe older so there might be a better chance of finding them in the junkyard
