    LS donor parts

Fair point, but it would just make sense to use the one that currently runs the motor he's potentially using. Hell..... probably wouldn't even need to unplug most of the wires/sensors/senders. Just unbolt the ECM and let take the ride out of the engine bay and into its new home.

I need mental help!!! What should I do?

Option paralysis is real!!! Lol If it were mine, and just a cruising machine for medium effort, I'd rip guts out of the van and transplant into the truck. There is so much info on LS swaps into these trucks it's almost foolproof. No real need to tune other than the VATS and O2 sensors if...

    LS donor parts

Ya, you shouldn't need a 411, that would be just extra work in my opinion. Running the ECM that originally ran your motor only makes sense.

Watch his videos on wiring, pretty dang thorough.

    LS donor parts

I haven't done a LS swap, but have done a fair amount of research, and your list looks pretty dang complete. Maybe grab the air cleaner assembly as well, it may work in your situation. Why would you need a 411 if you are grabbing the donor ECM?

    Drunkcanuks build...... finally!!!

Well, went to the local electronics bodega, what a bust. Empty soundboards and a few demo amps for sale along with some very expensive double din head units. Would love one of them, but I'm not cutting my dash up. So probably start cruising Cruchfield later today. Decided it's probably not a...

Ya they have been around a long time, I've used them for inflammation a bunch of times to see what fits where. If the shop in town doesn't have for what I'm willing to pay, definitely hitting cruchfield up. 2-3 day shipping to my area, that's not too bad and id anything goes wrong, a LOT better...

Why won't people take my money??? Last week called a wrecking yard to inquire about the fixings for a 94+ GMC grill swap and a door. "Call you back tomorrow when I see what we got"......... crickets. Went Monday to a electronics shop to look at an amp, 4x6's and new modern head unit. Was...

Nice looking truck, needs a refresh for sure, but you seem to have that planned anyway. Too bad I wasn't closer, hell, I'm not even in the same country. I could have swapped you my rear bumper for your front one! Lol Just took mine off to put a roll pan on. I gotta ask why you are putting a...
