98 1500 4l60e clunk at 45-50mph - lockup?
dad got a 1500 with overheating issues, we pulled the engine, cleaned it up, replaced the rotten intake manifold(at coolant ports) and heads. now it runs fine, but above 45mph if you let off the gas at all, it does a hard clunk. ujoints checked, suspension checked, no slop. 91 GMC 2500 died, fuel in the feed line, not getting to injectors
I have a 91 GMC 2500, 5.7L. was jumping our dump truck a few weeks ago and it just died, I figured maybe it ran out of gas - but it didn't . I knew the fuel pump was on it's way out(hard to start in winter) so I replaced with a 96+ fuel pump, tossed on new filter and relay, fuse good. I'm...- Jwill000

no cheap lockers for 6 lug open diff?
So my 91 2500 2wd gets stuck in wet grass with an open diff. I was looking for a cheap locker(powertrax for $300-400) but summit says there's only one for my rear end and it's $800+ what are my other options? find another axle? call somewhere else?
