Springz absolutely sag, my K1500 had been overloaded so much in the past 5 years we've had it it looked like a lowered truck. When I took the stock springs out to replace them with NBS 2500 springs, I could easily move the leaf packs seperatly. New, heavier springs greatly increased ride height...

Yes it stays electric, I had to run a 12v power lead to the actuator for power, and the system is grounded by the switch on the transfer case - for the motors at least. This is because when grounded, the motor engages out "in 4x4", and when taken away it pulls itself back, disengaging the unit...
