    Replacement factory 4x6 speakers 88-94

I put the kappas in mine. I trimmed the opening a bit with a dremel and they fit just fine. The fronts fit tight.

And we're back..... It's been a while guys. I've been super busy. New job, became a father, and a lot of work on several vehicles later. Got this girl sitting lower. It's a belltech flip kit out back and Mcgoughys spindles and QA1 coilovers out front. Got a little c-notch there as well.

So today I visited a new diy salvage yard. I found a rear bumper in mint condition, a factory tow hitch receiver, brand new spare and rim from a burban, and a full setup Firestone airbag load helper system, plastic cover for back of cab behind the seat and a couple bits for 106 bucks. I found...

Got this thing for a couple bucks... It's a lund genesis elite. It fits really nice inside the rails and is a matte canvas versus vinyl

IIRC this tube was around 10 bucks from the pool store. I've had this one for 6 or 7 years and hit my 06 vette Targa several times since then. The bumper and valance used a lot. The weatherstrip doesn't use as much.

I went ahead and hit the valance. Driver side is complete in this picture.

So doing a little cleaning. I've used silicone O-ring grease to rejuvenate weatherstrip for some time now. Slathered up the door seals and letting them soak. They were pretty thirsty after 28 years. For schits and giggles I slathered up my bumper pad to see how well it will work. I used my...

I'm leaning towards a street grip suspension right now. Kinda spendy though. I'm on a very tight budget. Hopefully I can sell some more parts and stuff from storage and maybe get the lowering sorted out by the end of the year.

Just hitting some small details today. Always look at the little things. Saw this brand new cargo light lens on a junker that is about to head to the scrap yard. Nice freebie find.

Quality posts here! Thanks for sharing the detailed and documented build with us. I wish the pick your part places near me were worth a crud. More like "One Headlight" is the theme music due to there being only one headlight in the whole yard. Usually its busted too...

Changing out these dash boards is fairly simple. One thing to plan in advance is swapping the harness if need be. Removing the seats, steering column and kick panels makes the job much easier. I can do it solo at this point. I've got some square plastic buckets that I rest it on after I set the...

So I been tinkering and hunting parts. I found these mechanical tailgate link arms and replaced the slings. Curious to who has these verses the wire rope slings that I see the most? I took the Mrs for a spin. It reminded me to get the rear view mirror replaced as soon as practicable. There's...
