    No Fuel or Spark

Schurkey is spot-on! The phase of the dist at each mag point fires the injectors as well as spark. If the rotor doesn't turn when the engine is cranked, you will get no spark AND no fuel.

Cold Air Intake on TBI 350.

Not to argue "Shurkey" :-), I agree about the dyno testing of all the CAI systems. I was merely making a statement towards the cooler air from the fully-enclosed CAI vs. the open element into the engine bay. We all know, making horsepower requires the correct parts in the correct configuration...

Cold Air Intake on TBI 350.

Ya mean hot air intake??? Those cast aluminum CAI tubes and open air elements are totally worthless in my opinion (and all the testing on a dyno...) and further, can severely decrease your charge mix by super-heating your intake air due to heat soak. If you're looking to at the very least...

Can someone teach me about radiators and what will fit?

Also, do you have A/C? You may want to check between the condenser (A/C radiator) and the radiator to see if there's a bunch of crap lodged in there from years of driving... Found many a cooling problem just cleaning that area out to start (assuming you have yet to remove the radiator...) Good...

Can someone teach me about radiators and what will fit?

Have you checked your fan clutch at higher RPMs after warmup? I've seen even new clutches not function properly following warmup and they don't lock on thermal conditions due to a bad spring. Something else you may want to do is look at your plugs and see if you don't have an overly lean/rich...

    1991 454SS owner says hi

Steve, I put my feelers out and hope to hear back. In the meantime, not a lot of choices so I may have misspoke on the steel... though you could find a repro steel W-30 option (W-25) and cut the steel ram out and have it welded to another hood for full steel compatibility... Just sayin', custom...

    Newbie

Welcome, and Nice Clean Truck! As mentioned above, subtle is good... shaved door handles... blended lines, cowl hood, color-matching... most subtleties go unnoticed by the inexperienced but will make your truck stand out. 4.3L TBI should last quite a while. Auto or manual trans? Again...

Blueprint 383 short block and CA smog

I have a '94 C1500 (350 with TBI) and before I go smog every two years (here in Suckramento), I put about 5 gallons of E85 in the tank then top it off with 10 gallons of reg 87 octane gas, drive it for about a half hour at speed and then smog it. Blows cleaner than my Lexus! You could have a...
