98 will not move
I just got out from under the truck. The shift cable is working. I can feel the detents. The neutral safety switch is working. The 20amp PRNDL fuse has 12 volts on each side. I checked the bulkhead connection and nothing is bent. The tach is working. No CEL- 1987cut

98 will not move
No, I can feel the detents. Im not a newbie. I’ve tried everything I can think of. Im not getting power somewhere. Im trying to get it in my shop now. It’s got a 4/6 drop under it and I’ve got to get it up in the air. I was hoping it was something common in these 96-98 trucks- 1987cut

Hello all. I have a 98 Cheyenne 4.3/4l60 that will not go into any gear. I’ve replaced the ignition switch thinking it was an power issue to the solenoids. The tach was giving me fits as well but as of now it’s working and the truck still will not shift. Fluid levels are fine. Any thoughts? I...- 1987cut

1998 Cheyenne will not move
Hey guys. This problem has been probably addressed time and time again but my 98 won’t move when put in gear. I replaced the recommended ignition switch. I tried it and it worked!! I put all of the dash back together and went to test drive it. Same thing. No movement. Any more suggestions...- 1987cut
