Truck stalls at stop signs and red lights
I had similar problem when truck got into closed loop. Turned out to be worn distributor gear. Idled fine when cold or open loop.- 99k2500crew

Distributor
I had worn dist gear on my 99 7.4. Had idle problems and was tough to diagnose. Mechanic did not know why it wore.- 99k2500crew

Newbie here... Showing my new to me truck
I dig the chrome caps and trim rings look. Tried to find some for my k2500 but could not. Go easy levelling it as it does not take much to harden up the front. Arms end up travelling out and up instead of mostly up.- 99k2500crew

Door hinges
I did my front two doors in the past year with dorman pins and bushings. The bushings are weak and dont hold up if the holes are worn. I made a tool to be able to tap in/out the parts. Its flat bar in a very tall c shape. Not hard project just need a way to support the doors. I used a low cart...- 99k2500crew

99 7.4 low idle
I have a 99 K2500 crew cab with 7.4. Recently it starting displaying idle problems. When its cold, and in open loop, idle is fine about 900rpm. When is goes to closed loop the idle drops when driving and coming to a stop. Its automatic. Tranny place scanned it and said there were no issues...- 99k2500crew
