Hey guys I have a 98 1500 that I’m installing a carbed ls1 and I need to run my 4l60e. What is the best affordable stand alone set up for Basic driving?

700r4 to 4l60E

I’m converting a 92 1500 with a 700r4 to a 4l60e. Now obviously the 700 has a linkage and 4l60e is cable. So what’s the best way to make this happen some modification? or a cable conversion kit?

A/c control

I’m swapping a 5.3 in a 92, does anybody know if the tbi pcm has anything to do with a/c? I was planning on running old style compressor in hopes that everything will work as normal not knowing there’s a different engine turning the compressor. Thanks I’m advance
