    Something else I was wondering. Going from a 4.3 to a 5.7 TBI, what computer peice do I have to change out, is it the PROM? Also can I use the wiring harness from the V6 considering the harness doesn’t have any connections specific to the number of cylinders?

    4.3 ---> 5.7 Swap 1994 K1500

    To my knowledge the V6 is identical to the V8 truck in all other areas. They all share the 4L60E transmission with the same diameter input shaft. The truck has 176,000 miles on it, and the fuel pump is brand new as of last fall.
