    Rough starting idle

Exact same, I was going to start replacing sensors and the iac, but it looks like you've already tried that. I considered just replacing the ecm but I'd rather not spend $200 if I dont have to

    Rough starting idle

Exactly, if I manually idle it up around 1500rpm and hold it there for give or take 30 seconds it smoothes out and runs great. No issues while driving after initial warmup

    Rough starting idle

I just replaced the distributor and coil in my truck, it hadn't been running for a couple months. Chevy doesnt make a factory replacement dizzy anymore and I was unable to rebuild mine because it was already replaced by the previous owner with a cheap parts store replacement. I ended up picking...

    Rough starting idle

Did this ever get sorted out? Trying to figure out the exact same issue with my truck

Crank no start, everything fixes for a day

Ok, so I had a crank no start issue after some troubleshooting changed the fuel pump ant it ran great for the day, next morning didnt start again. Changed fuel pump relay and same thing ran great, next morning no start. Now I've changed fuel filter, fuel pump fuse, ign coil, cap & rotor, plugs...

Sparatic idle after fuel pump replacement

I thought it might be a problem with the connection in the tank as well, so I did pull it out again but everything looked good in there. As for the idle, I have kind of expected the iac but a scan tool wouldn't be a bad thing to get my hands on. Could there possibly be something in the ignition...

Sparatic idle after fuel pump replacement

I havnt tested the battery, but it definitely has no issues turning over and when it runs it sits at 14v on the guage all day

Sparatic idle after fuel pump replacement

Update, truck is back to a crank no start. Doesn't seem to spray fuel when cranking, but runs after being sprayed with starting fluid

Sparatic idle after fuel pump replacement

I'm at right around 11 psi now, fuel filter is only about 2 weeks old, new sock on the pump, wiring and grounds are good, tank is clean, plugs and coil are about a month old. I have been considering the cap and rotor but it was all close to new when I purchased the truck as well as the...

Sparatic idle after fuel pump replacement

Ok, so I recently had a crank, no start issue with my 92 rcsb. Sprayed some starting fluid and it fired right up, checked fuel pressure to find it was only getting about 8-9 psi. Changed out the fuel pump and it ran great for the day, next morning dead again. After some troubleshooting found out...

    Tbi to efi swap

That's awsome! I was hoping somebody had given it a try, seems pretty straight forward. How did it work out for you?

    Tbi to efi swap

The lockup is definitely something I would have overlooked! Thanks alot, I've got a pretty good idea of what I'm getting into now.

    Tbi to efi swap

That's actually pretty cool, I honestly didnt even know something like that could even be done. But I personally just dont have an interest in going that route. It will be a stroked block, somewhere in the 500 neighborhood. Nothing crazy, but leaps and bounds above the old tbi 350

    Tbi to efi swap

Emissions aren't an issue in my area, so it does seem to be about what I was thinking. What system did you go with? I've been contemplating going with the msd unit, everything I've read on it seems to be nothing but good.

    Tbi to efi swap

Ok, I've looked all over and can't find any information on this so here we go. I have a 1992 chevy rcsb 350 with the outdated tbi on it. What I would like to know is if anyone has done the swap from the tbi to an efi setup like the Holley terminator efi, msd atomic efi, or any of the other...
