TBI or Vortec?

I'm going to pick up a 1995 Chevrolet Silverado K1500 this weekend. Does anyone know if it was still TBI in 1995 or if Chevrolet converted to Vortec? I'll be able to tell when I pick the truck up, but lookin for answers sooner. Also, if I had 2 engines, let's say 1 is a TBI 350 and the other is...

Is this a rare color combo?

I have a 1997 GMC Sierra 1500, the code in the glove box matches laguna green but it has a 2 tone tan color from just above the badge strip along the sides of the truck. My step-dad bought it used in 2007 and it was stock, other than the wheels and I was wondering if the paint was stock or not...
