95 TBI into a 97 Vortec pickup

I’ve got a 97 Z71 that came with the 5.7 Vortec according to vin code. Somewhere along the line before I bought the truck it was swapped to a 5.0. The current 5.0 has spun a lower end bearing (crank or rod) and I have access to a good 5.7 TBI that is in a 95 Z71. Can I just swap ECM and...

2003 5.3 into a 97 k1500

I can get a good used 2003 5.3 with trans and transfer case with all wiring and computers. Will this be a hard swap into a 97 k1500 4x4 ? Looking to do cheapest swap. Truck has a 5.0 now.
