Thx for the info. I decided to go with a carbed SBC in mine. I bought the right ecm for the swap if you are interested in it? Bought used from ebay for a 94 2wd 305/5spd. I won’t be using it.

TBI harness swap?

I bought a used '94 V8/5spd ecm for my swap. I noticed the '90 305 donor has a est module on intake bracket, and 94 doesnt. Does this mean I will also need a '94 V8 distributor, for my oem harness to plug/play? Thx for the help

I stripped ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING out of the '90. Been looking under dash of my 94 auto, and I did see the firewall dimples, but nothing for the rear of the clutch pedal bracket? Anyone else? If I drill the two holes, can I gain access to the topside of it to nut/bolt?

Im stripping a 90 c1500 to swap 5 speed into my 94 c1500. Do I need EVERYTHING under dash, ot can I just add the clutch pedal? Thx. Shtbox

At my wits end.. Looking for any idea.

I chased ghost like that on a 88C2500. Checked grounds at t-stat housing and I had bad ignition module in dist. Dont forget the grease undee it. Hope it helps.

Thanks guys. Do you know if my 1990 chip is compatible with my 1994 ECM? As stated, I dont believe they are the same ECM, between years. I will check the service number on each.'90 Donor truck just got here today

TBI harness swap?

Hi guys. I have a 94 C1500 4.3/auto and Im swapping in a 90 305/5spd(cause it was cheap) for my daily. Is my best plan to keep the 94 harness and ecm, and buy the right memcal? ,,, or can I swap in the 305 harness and ecm. Not sure it would work with my dash, ect Thx in advance. Shtbox
