Alternator Flaky-Failure Coming?

Thanks for the corrections, the Die Hard has less than a year on it, I suspect the alt, so plans are to swap it out with a Delco unit this week. Th anks for all the replies. Ken

Alternator Flaky-Failure Coming?

I have a problem that is a real stumper for me. My alternator gauge on the dash is shows 14 + volts 4-5 days a week, then randomly when I go to start it up the gauge will show 10 volts or less. I shut down then and restart and sometimes it will show 14+ volts (more often it will not). It doesn't...

Vortec Throttle Body

Taking the restrictor out slows your overall airflow at part throttle resulting in less air flow speed to fill your cylinder. The smaller diameter opening results in higher flow speed for cylinder charging speed at low RPM. The restrictor is much more efficient for part throttle application...
