    Weird shifting issue - 92 C1500 automatic

    Check your TV cable from transmission to throttle body. Mine had same exact issues and the cable housing had spit where it bolted into transmission. Changed cable and all is better. Hope this helps!

    My tranny (700r4) is gonna be replaced soon. I already purchased a stage 2 built trans. It came with a 2300-2600 stall converter. Is it too much converter for my truck? All stock except exhaust, few bolt ons. Thanks!

    The ghost engine light going on and off I found is usually egr valve or related. The light usually comes on when on hwy or interstate then goes off when at slower speeds.

    Noise in my rear diff

    Kenny is right. The pinion has to be shimmed and ring gear adjusted just right for the teeth to mesh correctly. Best left to someone with experience to change them out.

    Sounds like it may be your cts sensor. Coolant temp Sensor. Its in the intake next to your thermostat housing. My truck had same symptoms and I changed that and was good to go. Could also be your tps sensor. Throttle position sensor.
