    These tips are excellent. When I did it to my first truck, I used an electric drill at 4000 RPM. The wheel was completely gone by the time I finished because I did not let it cool off. But $40? I purchased mine at a local Finishmasters and it was $15. Not 3M brand but same product.

    fishing line is to only remove the trim, not the tape itself. I had to use it on my old truck, but this truck it just pulled off. The issue that I am running into is that the adhesive is rock hard. It literally chips and flakes away when I use a razor blade. I will take a look at the 3M remover...

    Last time I did this a few years back to my previous OBS, it was a hot ass day so it was as dry as can be, but it took forrreeeverrrr (as referenced in The Sandlot) Anybody ever try soaking it first? Maybe with water or a practical solvent and then using the wheel? Just shooting ideas

    I want to know if I have the 60e or 80e because the friend I bought the truck from said "it has the heavy duty transmission" but he doesn't know much about this kind of stuff so I would like to find out for myself!

    Not much man just basic tune up and any repairs it may need. Some small stuff like e-fans, change out exhaust, bucket to 60/40 bench swap, pcm tune, debadge and detrim, new paint, possibly swap from the current 16" black rims to 17 or 18" chrome (I may stay with black on black tho)

I just found out the passenger side door lock button will lock/unlock the driver side door, but will not lock/unlock the passenger side.     Door lock issue

    The driver side door only locks and unlocks manually from the inside. The passenger side only locks by using the key from the outside, exact opposite of the driver side. I just bought the truck and I need to get this fixed. Any ideas? Thanks gentlemen!

    Plugs/wires and exhaust question (removing muffler)

    I respect that you're a Flowmaster fan, however the muffler that is on the truck is old and sounds like it simply needs to be replaced. I'm thinking the cats provide enough sound dampening so I might as well replace the muffler with pipe.

    Unfortunately, I can't go with high-flow cats cuz I'm in CA. Stock cats only or it won't pass smog, and it's not worth swapping the exhaust in and out each time I smog it. I believe it's 2.5" piping, does that even matter?
