The first generation mopar 3.5 V6 was a good motor. At least the one I had. Little bit different than a Chevy, but once I learned its quirks, it was a good car. Very powerful, could seat all 4 of us and carry gear for a long weekend. And good mileage too. The secret to making it last was regular oil and filter changes, and when replacing the timing belt, replace the water pump and the timing belt tensioner at the same time. You can buy all this together in a kit. The way to do it! I didn't remember to replace the tensioner the second time I did the job (it looked still in great shape). Got to pay somebody to do the job over 1000 miles later because of that. That car had over 180,000 miles on it when we sold it.
But that's the first generation 3.5 engine. Mom has the second generation one in her 04 Pacifica wagon. I'm sorry, it's pure bullsh#t to have to pull the intake manifold off to change the spark plugs. And the starter would be easier to change if you pulled the radiator (with all that involves) than the way it's done. Nine pages of instructions for this job in the shop manual. It's a Chrysler when you're cruising, but a Mercedes when you're wrenching.....
