    1994 5.7 to 1995 4.3 4x4 4L60e differences?

    Will a 1995 (4.3) S10 Blazer 4l60e work in a 1994 k1500 (5.7)?

Making changes to a 10 bolt rear

Those 2 vehicles I worked on did. I would figure that the axle flanges are the same Both of those were unmodified factory 10 bolts with 11 inch drums.. With that being said, the bare axle housings 95 or 96 up were the same. Maybe 88 to 94 C/K had a different flange? IDK. I believe it is...

Making changes to a 10 bolt rear

I worked on a 96 4x4 Tahoe that had the factory 11 inch brakes on it, as well as a 99 4x4 Suburban. Why wouldn't those backing plates work??

    My Sons First Truck

At least the 4L60e was NOT a 700r4 so you were not accused of adjusting it improperly! I believe 94 was the first year of that. My 98 4.3L W/T longbox is chugging away at only 195k. My 98 C1500 xcab 5.7 from TX is at 472k and runs awesome as well. Those are great first trucks if not rotted away!
