FWIW, I have a bone stock (engine) 98 Vortec 350 with true dual exhaust and twin cats... and it smells rich too when compared to my stock 2013 6.0. I can imagine without the cats it would smell very rich especially on startup when your dumping more fuel than normal operation. Sent from my...

I’m not sure where your getting your AD244 but I didn’t find one cheaper or even close when I was looking. I picked up my brand new direct replacement AC Delco CS144 for $110 plus an $8 plug. So upgraded with brand new parts for $118 all in... That’s why I messed around with the CS144. Sent...

Alternator plug

I just bought a high amp alternator for my 98 GMC C1500 and noticed it has a square plug. My current alternator has an oval plug and 1 wire. I’m only seeing square plugs with 4 wires when searching. Is there a square plug with one wire or am I wasting my time? Any info is greatly appreciated...

Also- if you have a bolt in notch... you’ll be bottoming out with any load in they bed if you go lower than 1” additional. Even with the additional 1”... your not going to be able to haul much before sitting on the axel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New guy, just want to see some static drops

I had a similar issue and it ended up that the previous owner had put a 2” drop shackle on the truck which caused my 6” drop to be an 8” drop. Once I figured that out, I put a factory shackle back on it and was to my liking. Before: After: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
