L29 transplant for tow vehicle?

L29 transplant for tow vehicle?

Has anyone done a L29 transplant into a early 90's C6 chasis? I am about to upgrade my 90 Topkick/366/5 and 2 with a 99 7400 Vortec.

Favorite Tool Brand

PROTO gets my vote for the most dependable, any of the brand made before the import invasion when I come across it, but the downside is usually no place left to warranty it if needed. Waiting 2 weeks and counting for the Craftsman substitute replacement ratchet that probably won't last a tenth...
