400 cracked block?

It's not the bore size that make an engine run hot. .060 over is pushing it on the comfortable zone as these do have thin cylinder walls. Everyone says they are problematic but I've never had issues or personally know someone who has. I've ran a .030 409 casting 400 block 16psi with a 671...

I was going to go have them "X" under the blower to keep the height down. I have 16" of available height before I need a cowl hood lol. It will be roughly 5" higher than a ls truck intake. I'm keeping everything contained under hood.

In the grand scheme of things, probably not. With a turbo, different intakes have made big differences. It was more of a Science experiment but easily tripple the fab work.

I wanted to do a cross ram style intake for my blower. I was going to have approximately 12" runners. I wanted to test the torq of it on a dyno and see if the long runners were even noticeable. Injector placement and about of fabing it to make fit would be a nightmare. I have changed my route...

Picked up another hot rod project.

It's a 87 bumper on a 76. I liked the smooth bumper vs line in the 73-79. Alot was done this truck. With alot of different parts lol
