Finally! GMT800 style towing mirrors on GMT400.

This is just a wild guess, but the most likely problem with the diodes would be having one or more of them connected in the wrong direction. The function of the diode is to make sure current only flows in one direction in the circuit. I hope to hook mine up tomorrow, so we'll soon know if I got...

Need some thoughts on some potential interior mods

+1 My '99 Suburban has the same interior (only in leather). The instrument cluster inlay and some of the overhead console trim is actually what GM called "graphite." It's a very dark gray. The leather on my front buckets is beginning to wear, so I'm going to have to recover them one of these...

I just put these on my '99 Suburban. They look great and give me a much greater view of what's behind me! I haven't gotten around to wiring up the turn signals yet, but hopefully this weekend. I'm going to do what the OP did and wire them to the turn signals and the parking lights. Thanks very...
