    Question about factory interior colors

    They had four basic trim colors for 1988-1998, Beige/Neutral, Red, Blue, and Gray. I know Blue changed from Dark or Very Dark Blue to Navy Blue around 1994 or 1995. (Anyone know when?). Maybe they added or altered other colors in later years - I'm not certain, but never within the same year...

    Just to be clear, the metal piece that attaches to the connector is what I need, not the connector or wires. Some of the responses indicate this and some don't. @movietvet I'm not sure what you mean when you say "does not get a ground there" as the ground wire from the sending unit/fuel pump...

    Connector C407 where the pigtail from the fuel pump and sending unit plug into the connector at the frame near the gas tank has a metal part on it that I'm missing. You can see it in the picture. It uses the ground screw to keep the connector on top of the frame rail. Is there a part number...

    That's good you figured it out. If you have any comments to add to post #3 in this thread, please do. It sounds like the very first sentence of post #3 is what you did to solve the problem. Annoying how these circuits are wired in my opinion. Enjoy your LEDs!

    I had/have the same problem with my original 1992 C1500 sockets. I surprised it is not universal. I tried four different bulbs and finally modified the sockets with a cutting edge run around the lip of the socket. See this video for details on how I fixed it.

    At one point during all of this, I noticed that warm glow you mentioned and thought, maybe I don't want LEDs. I seriously considered going back to the old bulbs (that I kept of course). Maybe some day.
