Great job. I have that same brown black 2 tone on my 98 6.5 burban. The roof looked the same I hit it with duplicolor rust reform and a clear. Looks better now.
I'll have to wait a few days to dive back into it. I did drop the steering column to drop the dash for an hvac repair. I probably at least have something kinked.
Sorry guys just saw the replies. It's a 98 suburban k2500 with the 6.5. Key will cycle through and start/run it. It will shift but without pulling the stick back, just over into a gear. Key will cycle back until just before all the way off/ pull Key out mode.
can't find much on my issue. Dropped dash and replaced the hvac door box, put back together, replaced mode selectors, swapped vacuum pump and vacuum lines (its a 6.5 diesel). Got it all back together, batteries is dead. Key can turn but won't come out and it won't shift out of park. It's not on...
I pulled a 1998 6.5 k2500 suburban out of a field. Fixing things as I go along. Mode door linkage above gas pedal is missing. No luck at jinkyards yet, anyone got a link for the whole thing to replace?
Got to figure out why things arent blending right. Anyone have a list of parts to replace on the air box? Figured id replace it all so I dont have to go back into it anytime soon. Also got to replace some lights and figure out why the temp guage isnt moving at all.
