I'm so jealous of this truck!! This was exactly what I wanted. Looks great man! But i had a son so I bought a K2500 Suburban instead hahaha

K2500 Suburban 454 Vortec oil pan and pump replacement

I have a 98 K2500 Suburban with the 454 Vortec. Recently, it developed a cold knock. Meaning, when i first crank it up, it takes a little bit for it to get oil pressure and it knocks for 30secs to a minute then clears up. Let me get a few things out of the way. Its definitely a knock without...

High Idle! HELP!!

I'm gonna ground it straight to the battery and see if it changes anything. And unplugging it doesn't change anything

I'm beginning to wonder if it's an ECU problem. Is there somewhere I can get a diagram of all the vacuum hoses on the truck so I can check every single one?

High Idle! HELP!!

Yes. I pulled everything off down to the throttle body and it's closed all the way. All the air is being sucked in passed the IAC. With the diagnostics computer the IAC shows 0 counts which should mean fully closed but it's not closed. It's wide open
